They are hard to come by.

What SC are you looking for specifically? Because there isnt one specifically made for the Protege.

I have one from a SLK230 Eaton M62. Sometimes you can find them on eBay for $100-$600

PM if you want more info for Supercharging the Protege.

I hear the SC off a Millenia S works for the FS-DE. You'd have to check me on that. Plus, if I remember correctly, Wings West's project MP3 had a supercharger on it from Garrett (I think)

I dont know where you are going to fit that without heavy modifications. Where did you hear that from? in all my SC searching not once have i seen or heard of this SC connected to a FS engine.

going with the M62 (or 45) is the easiest route to go.



and the wings west kit was made by vortech. (a centrifugal blower)

I have a supercharger on my FSDE engine, in taiwan made for the Ford Tierra RS, Ford lynx (in the philippines) that I'm looking to part out. It's a bolt on supercharger with 7lbs of boost.

I had both the turbo and supercharger on my FSDE. though the supercharger is more reliable, I still prefer the turbocharged. Hence i'm selling it and going back to turbo. There is no modification at all, a complete bolt on taking out your intake manifold of course.

I'm from NY but living in the Philippines for school temporarily. I'd be happy to make arrangement to ship it to you if you are interested My cousin is here visiting and I can easily ask him to send it back with him to the US in May.

Btw, I'm using emanage ultimate for the piggyback ECU.

Thanks. Yea - normally we don't police WTB threads looking for responders, but it's ALWAYS recommended prior to making a purchase. In this case, I asked particularly because of the value of the item.

I think that you can mount the super charger using the AC compressor bracket with some modifications.
