Mine was having the typical problems associated with the Kenwood H/U's. It finally stopped playing altogether and I replaced it before trying to fix it, so it may very well be dead, or it may have a silly problem easily repaired

But as a result, I'll let it go for cheap. You never know, maybe you can fix it and get a great deal on a stereo. It's up to you though if you want to try and fix this or buy one that you know works fine.

With the crappy history of these cd players I think anyone that "works fine" will break, cause it is very good at that. I'm on my third right now.

weird.....in both of my MSPs i have never had a slightest problem with either headunit.

I put the Kenwood 919 in my p5.. and I really like it! Never had any problems with it.
