wrecked the MSP last night (7-9-04)

well there goes yet another MSP, sunlight silver metallic. i was in the left turn lane with no lead light and checked if i had room to go, proceeded to take my left turn and turns out i didn't have enough room, another driver who was speeding all the way in the right lane clipped me in the rear by about 7 inches, spun me around 180 style, and injured the 15 year old girl who is down here visiting me on vacation. cops said it doesn't matter that she was speeding and ticketed me for the accident. i hate the rate at which MSP's are going down the drain, just never thought i'd be one of them. hopefully insurance will cover it and i'll buy a SPICY ORANGE, my dream car. and it'll be 10x better than the sunlight silver. or the insurance company will screw me and i'll ride a bicycle to work and school. cheers fellas, enjoy driving your mazdaspeeds and don't take it for granted.

Damn that sucks! How bad was the accident? If it is totalled I know of a dealer that has a spicy orange msp for $13k. Dont know if its still there but it was a few days ago.

if it's totalable i will be parting out, if not, i might have the insurance repair it and sell it, in which case i will proibably also part it out. so we'll see by monday they say, i'll start a parting out thread if that is the case.

hey i got a question, does anyone know if i go to mazda to fix it, if my warranty will be voided? it shuold be right? that would be kind of cool. i mean it would suck but at least then i could start modding and not worry about voiding the warranty?

oh men i didn't see this thread im really sorry about your car, like i said before thank God that you are ok and everybody, i know a dealer that is selling a orange one is down in coral springs in the dogde dealer, hope everythink goes fine and good luck finding an orange. im in the same situation i totalled my civic and the insurance is going to pay me but i don't know which car to buy. ok men take care and if you need help finding a orange msp i can help you.

No your warranty shouldnt be voided because of an accident. And not having a warranty itsnt all that great. I know I lost mine at 8k and now I have lots of little problems with the car, fighting with mazda to cover them because they voided my warranty because of abuse on the car but the parts I want to get fixed have nothing to do with that, but they are dicks.

wow that would be very helpful, like i said i find out monday iof they'll total it or not, which would probably be geed if there is damage to the frame, after the car is done with i'm gonna take the ticket to court and ***** myself to the judges mercy, this way maybe with some licence suspension, some trafffic school, and maybe community service he will give me no points, but either way i have 3 tickets already with no points, so i don't know, i'll see what i can do. i just can't have my insurance to be incredibly expensive. which it already is

god i'm so scared i'm never gonna drive again!
