Did anyone catch a glimpse of a wrecked black mica MSP on good morning america? The story was about the crappy safety ratings small cars get when tested for side impact with an SUV. Not exactly the kind of exposure we need to be getting, but the story was pretty awful in its own right....I think a different thread already pointed that out.

ironic that people have flipped multiple times and come out without a scratch.
Yeah the whole story was stupid. Why don't they say something we don't already know? Of course small cars are horrible when they crash with huge ******* SUVs.....tomorrow they might as well have a story on the poor safety performance of SUVs when colliding with trains. I guess their solution is everybody should just go out and buy Hummers so we're all travelling around in huge tank like vehicles.

Someday, I want to take a piece of all the foriegn cars, weld it to an old supra or something, with alot of power, and then weld a bunch of those ramming bars on, and beat the **** out of all the SUV's...hrm, is this article pointing out Small cars are dangerous, or that SUV's are a Danger...eye of the beholder I suppose. if everyone drove small cars, there would be less deaths, less damage, less polution, less hate, less ego driven assholes. PERIOD.

) ) and yet I prefer small, nimble cars as shown by my choices of cars. I don't need large overpriced tanks or brand name car snobbiness(two kinds of cars I could easily afford), to make me feel good. Im not a showoff and believe you show the size of your "cajones/bal!s" by action/achievement not by the curb weight of your ride. I prefer slickness/cleverness and quickness and good engineering, things that these cars epitomize.
The art of engineering is to prevent a defect/problem before it arises and as such the MSP/EVO with their sharp handling/braking etc can lead to avoidances of accidents. At least thats the way I look at it.

hahahaha this is ridiculous. instead of showing articles and pieces on small cars getting owned by an SUV twice the size and height, they should show more articles on SUVs getting owned by each other. it's retarded. people complain about high gas prices, but still pay for high priced SUVs with bad fuel economy, and the media dares to say that small cars get a "POOR" rating when crashed in to a SUV. well NO s***, **** faces.
