Well, my car is finally running. Got it back from the tuner and it runs scary hard. The tuner set a high/low setting for me, low setting is at 13psi that made 300 Whp, and high setting at 15psi which made 360 Whp.

It didnt make the 500 Whp as projected. But he did tell me that the car will make it, but theres something that is holding my turbo back from making anymore boost past 15psi. He recommended me to dump the exhaust out the side because I still have a full exhaust still on it minus the cat. He also told me that i shouldnt be running a air filter anymore, and possibly my intercooler and piping is holding me back (long intercooler piping and not sure what my intercooler is rated at, have to call the guy that put it all in for me), or that I might need different cams, cuz im still using stock ones.

Well, there is still alot that i have to play with to get it running what it is capable of. My tuner and engine builder says itll make the numbers, now i just have to start the process of mixing and matching until i find the right combo. Then my tuner tells me that to make numbers like that i really cant be having a full exhaust system......????

Dyno sheet to come, he still hasnt sent them to me. Heres a picture though

Holy crap man I haven't seen you in a while! Glad to see your car is up and running. Good luck with it and post up those dyno sheets!!! :D

Wow, those are some serious #'s. I hope that you reach the 500 mark. Good luck and welcome back.
 
DAMN, it has been a long time since you've been around. Nice to see you got it running and running strong as hell. Did you dyno with race gas to make those numbers, because they are real high. What kind of dyno was? Man that T3/T4 screams once you get into the higher boosts. I hate mine at 8psi, it's worthless, I hit 15 once and it scared the hell out of me.

Guess who's back.....Turbo_p5 is back! And with a vengence. The Motech really makes that much of a difference?
 
I'd like to know more details on the setup because he is making 30hp per psi when most only do 10-15????? Not doubting, but there has to be more to it. DAMN good numbers though.
 
details on the tranny??? Since that seems to be the thing holding most of us back?

haven't seen you around here in a bit. nice numbers. what have you done to valvetrain and rest of head/intake manifold. To be making those numbers I doubt it is stock, if so then wtf? heh. if you could take some time please post some details.
 
Sorry, dont get on here to much to reply.

Lets see...... Im running 117 octane leaded fuel.
Tried getting the dyno numbers today but my tuner is out of town at some race, so couldnt get it just yet.

As for the motor build up. Its just your usual ported head stronger rods, pistons. I really didnt get to involved with what they did with the motor. I just told them I want to be in the low 12, high 11's range. So they did what they did.

As for the transmission.. As a few of you know from before, I have cryoed gears and a quife LSD. With some stronger driveshafts.

Off topic.....I was out breaking in the motor this past weekend, just cruising around getting on it here and there when possible. So i was sitting on the shoulder waiting for the last few cars to pass so i could get a good run through out the power band. So I launch 1st, no traction, got into 2nd even worse, and as i was getting out of 2nd a GSX-R was flying and came right up next to me as i was getting into 3rd. So we went at it, and i started to pull from him at the end of 3rd going into 4th.... Then, it was pretty even, then get got me at my mid 4th gear.

May not have been a leggit kill, but it was fun as hell, to see a bike next to me instead of infront of me. Even though it only lasted a gear and a half. (thumb)

hmmm sounds strange...turbo cant make past 15psi, but its pushing 360whp @ 15psi?
Maybe your gauge is bad and really pushing 25psi
