those seats are not FIA approved and may not even hold up in a crash. im not saying dont buy them because they are cheap im saying dont replace seats that will protect you in a crash with ones that are just for show.

there ya go. Mine was for show only, not for actual driving around n s***. This guy is totally correct on what he said.

it is true, say you get in an accident and you get injured, someone elses insurance company could deny your claim and say you had umnapproved equipment on yoru car that caused your injury. Kind of like how Mazda likes to void warranties for adding things on the car that they say cause other problems.

4 pt harness FTL... Not safe because of submarining. Gotta get atleast a 5-6pt harness. 6pt to save your balls. Those seat = FTL too. I have a Bride in my miata, only becase I Autocross it tho. I got the Bride EXAS III which is their smallest seat and it was $950 shipped w/ seat rails and sliders. The OEMs are really nice. If you want to preserve them from the sun or dirt, get some covers for them. Thats what they are for.
