Great. I don't have photoshop.

I post my work order like EVERYONE demands, and this is the first post I get?

Freaking outstanding. Your the man! (yippy) So its the left motor mount and tranny mount, or is it all one in the same? I greatly thank you for this. Now we all can check our stuff and raise hell with mazda in case any other forum member has a problem again.

If you need an apology then SO be it. Even though i posted 100 times I want proof posted so we can have a running log if others have problems, and nothing to do with you.

I am sorry

Better now? I mean the 'read-through'. On my computer, I couldn't see it before. I smudged out the name and address. Can you all read it or not?

I don't have paint - I'm using a Mac. I 'retouched' the address and VIN areas - did it work or can you still read it?

nah it worked - but my photographic memory is a b**** :p

I just found it hilarious when I looked @ it...

atleast the entire work order says WARRANTY - I might go look it up later to see what the actual cost of labor/parts would have been

that should be an interesting bit of research...

And thanks for everyone for warning me that my personal info was readable - I really can't see it on my machine.

They told me it'd be about $9k or greater.

I just feel lucky I got it towed to Alhambra instead of Star. The only reason that happened is that they had to hold my car overnight at the towing place because all the Mazda dealers were closed when it happened. Overnight, I researched nearby places and heard about Star's terribly rep. I called Mazda's towing service and asked them if they could PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE not bring it to Star.

Wow!!! 3006.25 LIST price in parts, not including the tranny because I dont feel like calling Mazda to get pricing, and for the mounts, they replaced the left one and the rear one.

I bet the tranny is easily another 3k dollars or more.. man, I thought the guy was kidding when he said it was a $9k dollar job.. for that price I'd just buy a miata and make the MS3 into a coffee table or something :P

The rest is for the oil change I got. I didn't figure it was relevant.

I really hope that the oil change was on the house, to somewhat compensate for all your trouble.

Thanks for posting that work order. Unfortunately it really doesn't say what exactly happened but just listed the parts they replaced. Anyway it does show your mileage which is the highest I've seen with this problem. All the others seemed to happen at half that.

The guys on the other forum with the mount problem are filing formal complaints here: http://www.safercar.gov

I would advise anyone who's had a problem (even if was just a loose bolt) to do the same. Here's where your voice would have some impact.

We really didn't want to come to this but the mount issue is very serious and Mazda hasn't said anything publicly yet about it so hopefully seeing the various complaints would get them to issue some kind of tsb or a recall. Rumors are floating around that they told some dealers to check the bolts but when asked, many denied knowing anything so that could just be a rumor and nothing else.

I also want to stress to anyone who might be reading this that I and many others have zero problems with their cars so this isn't widespread. However the number of people that have had problems is unsettling. I also checked my bolt at least twice already and it was torqued to spec.

Nope. I used synthetic, so I had to buy it, and then I paid for the labor of doing the oil change.
