So I have these mysterious scrapes on my rear bumper and I just found out that someone hit me at school. I have a good idea of who it is but some friends of mine asked him about it and he denied it was him. I haven't seen him and he skips the period he has with me so i haven't seen him since.

My question is do you think there is anything besides getting a new bumper to fix this. Its not that bad but its noticeable with the white paint. I can posts some more pictures of it tomorrow.

Scrapes aren't that deep but I have washed it a bunch and hasn't helped

I have used that Duramix 40/40 to repair my bumper(broken tabs), headlights(broken grill mount) and lip spoiler. Its pretty stout stuff to.

Thats the main reason I waited until I was done with school to buy a new car, parking lots are horrible and its bound to happen sooner or later. Depends on how deep it is a good rubbing compound and some wax or wet sanding should help.

take the bumper off, and have it repainted. it will look brand new, and will probably cost you 300-500 to paint it depending on who does it. This is why, when I was at school, I parked next to the curb or pillars in the garage and had a friend park next to me with him basically in my parking spot.

Is it actually scratches/scraped down into the paint, or is it just a surface scuff?

If its just a bad scuff I would go grab some Scratch-X by Meguiars. They say the stuff works for medium scratches, but I don't think it works that well for that. If you put some elbow grease behind it though it will get out some pretty nasty scuffs.
