Woo hoo...got my Mazdaspeed exhaust!

Wow, it was a cinch to install. Took me about 20 minutes and I didn't even jack the car up. I do recommend that you use some WD-40 on the bolts though and some silicone spray for the hangers. Makes the job that much easier.

Sound, much louder than I expected. Sounds like the Comptech exhaust my friend had on his Type R. Very very deep. It's pretty loud inside the car too. This is by far the loudest exhaust I've owned on any of my cars (Del Sol and Miata). It sounds great though. Glad it doesn't sound like a can of pissed off bees or anything raspy like I have a hole in my muffler. Looks good too. I'll try and take pics when this darn rain storm lets up.

um, just wondering, do you also have window tint and painted red brake calipers??? because there's this yellow P5 that I see parked just off of Pender Drive everyday I drive to work. Is that you? If not I need to get him onto the forum too!

Heres something I wish someone or several people could do. I do wanna get a new exhast ehre shortly after my intake is put on next week hopefully. But I do not want it to be overly loud or anything simular to the pissed off bumble bee sound. I want a mean deep growl sound.

Now if people could start recording there new exhasts and putting mp3s on here that could make life easier. Until I'm left guessing which one I want.

i got my mazdaspeed from an online parts department of a dealership in texas. i think it was called mazda south. cost $195. mazdaformance has it for the same price i think. my dealership wanted $230 f'ing bastards. peace

Got mine used...

I got mine used actually off of someone on either this board or protegeclub.com. Can't really remember as I'm on both every day.

ZoomZoomH...nope, that's not me. Although I used to work in that area several years ago, I'm no longer over in that area. No painted calipers. I do see another Yellow P5 on 28 as I go home from work (in Ashburn). I also see a Red one with those polished door trim things and dark tint around the Chantilly area. I'm starting to see more and more on the road these days. Go Mazda!
