Wondering if CX5 recall will happan?

I can't change the subject line, please excuse. Wanted to explicitly highlight its AIRBAGS, at face value it might read as TOTAL RECALL.

the article is pretty specific - no cx-5's listed = no drama

The expanded recall includes the 2003-2008 Mazda6, 2006-2007 MazdaSpeed6 and 2004 RX8.

previous news stories in dec 2015 also did not list cx-5s

Mazda has focused its recall on vehicles sold or registered in Florida, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. The automaker will replace the front and/or passenger airbag inflators.
Recalled cars:

2003-2008 Mazda6 - Driver and/or passenger side airbag

2005-2007 MazdaSpeed6 - Driver and/or passenger side airbag

2004-2008 Mazda RX-8 - Driver and/or passenger side airbag

2004-2005 MPV - Driver and/or passenger side airbag

2004-2006 B-Series Truck - Driver and/or passenger side airbag

The thing that bothers me about this recall is Takata does not know the root cause of the problem. They may be replacing bad airbags with bad airbags or good airbags with bad airbags.
