I was wondering, does anyone know what color the wire for the AFR gauge is in the ECU, i need to know which one is the o2 sensor one...

The stock one won't work with your wideband. You need a wideband sensor. You can probably find a cheap sensor online for $200 or so.

how about it if it was narrowband? for the light show cos im pretty sure i can get it to work

Ya if your gauge is a narrowband... But its useless. It's just a blinky light show if it's not a wideband. Waste of money.

THere's a how-to.

lol thats funny .. but i just heard there is a way to hook up the wideband almost the same way you would hook up the narrowband.. so im was going to give it a try but i need to know what number pin the ECU it is .. ir what color the wire is.

Don't mix up your wires. Seen a guy roast his gauge cause he did that.

Dude, seriously. If it's a wideband gauge, you need a wideband sensor tha outputs 0-5v. If it's a narrowband, you can use the stock sensor that outputs 0-1v. What brand is it anyway? It should have come with a sensor...

Okay, it's not a wideband, jsut an Air/Fuel gauge. It can jsut be spliced into the factory wiring, but because it's nto a wideband, sorry to say but with Mazda's sensors, you pretty much wasted your money. All it will do is blink back and forth, back and forth, back and forth... This has been discussed to no end here (do a search) but there's no info that can e gathered from a narrowband gauge on Mazda's O2 sensors.

No man, the stock sensor is onl outputting in the range of 0-1V, and a wideband goes 0-5v. The two are not compatible.

Look, jsut buy a proper wideband and get a bung welded in your exhaust, about 18" past the turbo is where it should be and mount the sender i nthere. Sell the gauge you have now cause it's worthless...
