Wipers just stopped working...

I just got the 00 Protege LX last week. Wipers were working fine and all of a sudden they stop while im driving on the highway.

YOu think the motor is gone? PLus, the same thing happene dto my old car, a 92 corolla and I had to get the motor changed. Will the same motor fit in the Mazda?

You own 2 cars with different brands and have the same wiper problem. Sound strange

I don't know. Maybe, just coincident

Anyway, where are you living ?

One thing I know that my friend did it before when he try to use wiper when the ice or heavy snow stucks in the wiper. It's easy to burn the motor; so, make sure to clean ice/snow before to prevent heavy power for the wiper motor

Yeha i figured out what it was. The connection came loose? Maybe I hit a bump too hard or something, so the cable coming to the motor became a little loose.
