Winter's here....back to stock tires

Well, we are forecasted to get some snow very soon, so I put the stock wheels/tires back on the wife's P5. She has never driven this car in the snow, nor has she ever driven a stick shift in the snow for that matter. Should I be real worried about the cars handling on stock tires in the snow?? She is gonna be driving my Civic HB as soon as the I get it put back together (some assholes broke into it and stole the stereo and busted up the dash) but it may be another week or two. I am a big time worrier when it comes to her driving in hazardous conditions. What are your opinions.

From what I've read here and on Tirerack.com our tires are pure crap in the snow. You would be better of getting a set of winter tires & wheels. Even a set of All-seasons would be better than our stock Dunlops.

They are crap!

I have a winter car with snows that I break out for the winter season. before i had the chance to store my Mp3 away for the winter I got stuck in a snow/ice storm. It was crazy - I went to bed and the following morning everything was covered in snow.....i had no choice but to attempt to drive it. i had to work.
I would not advise it at all......

Greeeeeaaaaat, well, I ordered a set of Nitto 460 Premium's to throw on my Civic HB. They should be here by Tuesday and I will get them mounted up on Wednesday. Hopefully the really foul weather will hold off till then. I look at it this way, the Dunlops have to be better than the Nitto 555's that were on there and once I get the new tires on the Civic, she will just have to adjust to the cable clutch over the hydraulic one in the P5. Thanks guys.
