Morning all. I know some of you are going to brush this off, but I wanted to remind everyone that snow and ice are completely different beasts. Remember not to get to comfident with those snow tires, they don't do squat on the ice.... Also remember those seat belts....
Sprry to seem such a down, but my father was involved in a pretty substantial accident during last Thursday's snow storm. He hit black ice on the highway (going perfectly straight), spun, hit a gaurdrail and then slammed into a stonewall along I-395. He was doing about 45 mph, 4WD and new tires, when he hit the ice and lost control just like that.
