Wingswest Bumper out of box!

Got my wingswest front fascia today - and I've always wondered how crap looks when you get it. THat's why when I got my autoexe grill I mage a thead on how it came, looked, what color it was, what materials it comes with.

The bumper comes with intructions for all the wingswest MPS parts - and yes the instructions are specific to the MP3, not just a general instructions. The intructions tho, don't go over exactly how to take your bumper off.

NOTE: The stock foglights will not fit in this bumper - they are too small, it recommend using PIAA part no. 5462, but I bought part 5293 anyways, because I like them better - and they will fit with minor modifications (holes drilled.)

Two cool things I didn't know about the bumper is, it actualy extends about 1 1/2" lower than the stock bumper (it's lower) and the bets of all, it comes with a lower mesh grill that matches the AUTOEXE grill, whooo

That's pretty stupid that the stock fogs won't fit. How hard would it have been for WW to make the bumper so they would?

That's crazy. Not only do you have to spend so much on the bumper, you have to spend more than half the cost of the bumper on new lights because they can't build it so it fits stock lights. Where is the logic in that???

I got it for 415$ shipped from Protege5Online, ya know, Mitch, and got the foglights off Ebay for 182 shipped.

Took out grill and fogs for painting. Monday it gets painted!

Heh surprising enough, the main reason I got the wingswest bumper is because it has no license plate holes, and no side reflectors. Supposedly with no place to put your front license plate, (in texas front plates are required) you can legally have no front plate. Much like corvettes, because they have this plastic piece that fills in the front plate mount area

Yea im sure you can get the lights online cheaper... but my prices on the WW parts are the lowest I have seen...

example.... P5online sells the whole kit for $970 plus $125 for shipping .... I can get the kit for $950 SHIPPED.

hey equinox....one question on the bumper, does it look like you can remove the side wings without destroying or making the fascia look screwy?

well it is solid to the base so you can cut if off if you want, but of course I mean cut, liek a saw - no unscrewing.

i can get the WW kit w/ flares for about $650 locally here.... I was SERIOUSLY considering it... but then when i realized that eventually ALOT of proteges protege 5s and mp3s are gonn have em... I wanted something more unique... so im having the shop i go to make me a custom bumper, and tc spoiler is making me a custom carbon fiber hood.... both will be one of a kind.... and i think it'll be worth it.... but for those who are looking for a REALLy nice aftermarket kit for their mp3/protege/p5 then I would strongly suggest the WW kit
