Sorry, I would have jumped in the chatroom to b****, but the company laptop won't accept any downloads to get the software to run the chat...Anyway...I've had my car for exactly one month now, and its on its way in for the second time. First time for a MISSING BOLT somewhere in the exhaust; now the tail brakelight is out (for that matter, it may have been out since I got it but I just realized it) I figure I might as well try and get the rear bushings fixed too while its in to try and get rid of the rear end noises that get worse with every day it gets colder... All I know is I just wrote out my first payment check, and I'm hoping that it doesn't go two dealership visits for every payment for the next 5 yrs...sorry again, needed to vent...

3mazdaman, where did u get ur car? it is getting cold. mine is squeekin bad im taking it in to faulner mazda tom in philly, i bought mine in fl. so im getting work done by faulner. that suck bout ur brake light.

I'm taking it to Brandywine Mazda on 202 where I bought it. I wish I could say they do good work, but if I keep bringing it in, that doesn't really hold true. Plus, once I bought the thing service was looked at like a neusance (sp?) and not an obligation. Oh well, I'm making sure I get a rental and I'm gonna work on an a free oil change while I'm there, its about that time. (yes, 3,000 mi in the first month...)

So if I bring in my car they'll replace my bushings for free? Will the squak/clunk totally go away?

Paul, let me know how it goes at Faulkner (or whatever dealer you take it to) with the bushings. When my brakelight was getting fixed I asked the guy about them and he said he hadn't heard anything from Mazda or anyone else. Please let me know if you have any luck as I'd like to get something done, because as its getting colder, it sounds like the back half of the car is going to fall off... :(
