Lugs will just not sure the offset is the same. Doesn't look crazy different tho.

its a 16x7.5, not sure what the offset is. someone before told me that it would work, the guy is coming down and is willing to sell w/ the tires for 300

alright well we got the rims reguardless if they will work or not. my current rim size is a 16x7 (i think) the new rx-8 rims are 16x7.5 (offset unknown)

my current tire size is 205-45-16.....The rx8 tire is 225-55-16

So what i need to know is what tire size do i need to run so that i get clearance between the tire and strut. The 55's had such a big profile that the wheel was resting on the strut before it could be lowered all the way

swap to the tire size you were running before...225 is too wide and 55 is too tall

Based on rim size, I'm gonna say 225/35/17. Do they even make that? I'm runnin 205/40/17s for no rub action 1.4 lowered & 17x7s with 42 or 45 offset...pretty sure 45 on offset.

reguardless of offset... I got them on with the 205's. They look great, no rub action, and i think they look a lot better than stock. will post pictures soon
