i tried searching but could not find the answer..will it?

why would you want to get rid of the rear sway bar?????? change the bushings out to the newer ones mazda redesigned or go with awr's 20mm poly-u bushings.

yeah, just change the bushings...i put the "newest" bushings on a few months back and i haven't had a problem yet.

Removing it will get rid of the clunk. If you do more daily driving and not aggressive in any way removing it is awesome. The ride is super smooth and quiet. It just doesn't handle very well.

u'll be in understeering hell if u remove the sway.

No not true. I had mine off for over 2 weeks and took some hard turns for fun. There is a lot more sway and I wouldn't recommend it for any kind of canyon driving but it is def comfortable for daily. I am thinking of taking mine back off until I start to go to the canyon again.

Oh but I do also have to add that I had the rear strut bar and awr trailing arms installed so I am sure that added some stiffness.

Yea it is really easy to install. A friend and I just did this on his P5 and it took about an hour to do. And it is a really fun project.

Definately the best mod for the MP3.....car handles amazing now(even better than before) and with no clunk:)

I've had these installed for a while and oh how I love the change! I have had a few instances of overstearing which I never thought id get in this FWD vehicle.

I ran into a couple minor issues when installing them on my MP3 but I believe he fixed those issues. Only thing of caution get the non greasable bushings because he greasable fitting hits a suspention piece of my car so I had to remove the grease fitting and plug the holes.
