i'm deciding if i should get it, it REALLY big and i might scrap cuz i'm also lowering it. I think it would look so nice! Does anyone have this installed?

the tip is huge! might look a little big on mp3/msp. if anything you'd definitely have to trim some of the rear skirt to fit and look good.

the muffler itself isn't Ti (only the tip is. it's riveted to the canister). it's also pretty heavy. i personally would go with the universal Ti muffler (real Ti) if you were gonna go with that big of a muffler but unfortunately HKS has discontinued this muffler so you probably could only find it at some shops that still have it in stock or maybe even ebay. i have the universal Ti on my mitsubishi (in the process of selling), i thought about transfering it over to the mp3 for boost duties but i didn't like how it would look on the car... too big for me on this somewhat smaller looking car.

Why anyone would want a 5" tip amazes me. To each his own I guess.

personally i don't care for TOO big of a tip, the main concern was the inlet pipe size (not the tip size). I also wanted a name brand muffler that I could count on, plus, the HKS Ti just looks killer. there's not much good quality japanese style mufflers out on the market that has a big inlet size w/o the massive tip size... go figure. :p
