Wide fenders

I was looking at the car today, and it just hit me how great it would look a bit lowered and with slightly wider fenders. Nothing crazy, but an inch or two of fender flare would look really mean on this car. Does anyone know if any company is working on anything like that?

I haven't heard of one as of yet but who knows that might change :)

you mean somethin like this?

of course it's a slight different body design but still pretty damn close. and still might work.

:P

Hatches aren't exactly the best platforms for Widebody kits

+1

I want vents like the M3 has. Just to help out a little with airflow not so much looks.

Airflow for what?

Dunno, I was reading some article about the subtleties of an M3 (Thinking about getting a used one when insurance won't **** me.)

WAIT NVM! lol wrong ftw!

Ok I found the right article. The purpose they serve: To allow hot air to leave the engine bay!

I thought they let were for retractable twin pulse cannons.

Unfortunately they're not actually connected to the engine bay on the M3. The only purpose they serve is to look like they do something.

As far as owning one used; if you think the insurance is going to **** you, wait until you see the maintenance bills.

Man since when did the internet give out bad information ....

I assume that's a rhetorical question, right?

Yeah.

I'm just bored @ work.

Well, one of the hood vents on the new M3 actually does something (feeds the intake) while the other is just for appearance. That's about as close as you're going to get.

Damn, no...nothing like that. Just fender additions...just a small bit in the front (1/2 inch or so) and slightly more in the rear (about an inch). I think slight fender flares would compliment the body lines very well...nothing like that ricey crap up there though.
