Still not much activity I see....

Hello you two lol. I haven't been on in months! Been busy with all sorts of fun adventures with the wonderful Air Force.

Anything new going down in the area?

Yeah, not much going on at all. At least all I do lately is work. Just about 6 days a week. Would love to get a bunch of mazdas together at some point. I've seen several speed3's around the base and in my area (pawnee and webb).

There's alsorts of speed3's and a few 6's on the west side. There is a really good looking P5 I've seen a few times on base over the weekend. I think he's an out of town Reservist though.

Would be awesome to get together a bunch of Mazdas. Sadly mine still isn't running... But I am intently working on that at the moment.

um... I'm actually in the process of makeing a part out thread of most of the motor parts I've bought over the years. I actually found a build motor with a build head for a good price so I am picking that up and after that I just have to get the mounts and driverside axle. Hopefully a new LSD also.

Yeah it really is plus if I sell all of the parts for what I am thinking I will actully end up being better off since the motor I am looking at has a fully built head, and the block is perfectly balanced and blueprinted. So there will be a post up for some go fast parts hopefully Tuesday or Wednesday ( my days off).

Sounds nice man! Good luck with all that. Sometimes I wish I had just kept my MSP; with the amount of money I've put into my MS3's (old and new) I could have a fully built, badass MSP. LOL.

lmao, were you one of the unlucky few to have your motor fall out of your MS3?

Yeah, still wish we had more members to get together with lmao.

Thankfully no! But considering the difference in payments, plus all the mods, I could have a fully built engine and more. Haha. But I can't complain, I love my MS3.

One of these days, I'm just going to start leaving post-it notes on windshields. There are a ton of MS3s around, so I don't see why we can't just get some folks together for a cookout or something.

Honestly I've tried that lol. There was one dude with a Yellow and Black MP3 rolling around that would come out to some of the shows and shoot the s*** but he's since moved back to CO. Maybe I just need to get the MSP done and drive round and randomly stop and talk to people like I used to lol.

Working on it only $2800 to go for the new motor and a few things after that; tires, breaks, LSD, driverside axel and its running lol. If the Awesome, wonderful Air Force ever decides to pay me the Per Diem they owe me for 5 weeks in San Antonio I'd have the cash to do it...

Haha.....yeah, I know what you mean. I'm still waiting for my per diem from a week at Omaha. I thought with everything being electronic nowadays, it would speed up the processes?

Omaha? You wouldn't happen to be in the CP would you? s*** man I remember every paper voucher I submited got paid out within 15 days. This EFinance system is so screwy non of our people can see what the finance people see so they are the only one that can kick it back. we've been on this system for less than a year and were already looking at going to a new one if that tells you anything lol.

I waited 8 months to get paid for a two week TDY to Hawaii, now it looks like I may be doing the same thing for a 9 week TDY lol. I got so fed up with the finance people I went down there and almost got myself in some deep s***. I flew off the handle after I realized the dude that had been kicking my voucher back every week was a boom operator, in the reserves... lol

That office is so screwed up it's rediculous. I really hope you don't work in the finance office cause yeah I would burn that office to the ground in a heart beat.

Well hopefully finance will get better soon. We just got a briefing from the budget office last week saying that the military is going back to having a fully staffed finance customer service. The problems right now stem from the paperwork having to go all the way to Ellsworth and just sitting there until someone there decides to approve or deny it. The finance office here honestly has no say in most of the process. It was stupid to go that route in the first place; but I'm glad to see they're going back to the old way of doing things.

lol well that has never made sense to me at all but if you really do work in the finance office and are haveing a hard time getting paid yourself that makes me feel alot better lol.

But to be honest the two vouchers I have filled since we went to efinance, I've only had one of them turned back once from Ellsworth. This one hasn't even made it that far and it's been kicked back, at my last count, 14 times.... lol But I guess since I'm a reservist now we only have a couple people to look at our vouchers, and one of them is constantly going TDY.

If you are in the finance office you should work your majic and get mine pushed through! I want my 3 grand! lol It'll be good for the Wichita Mazda Community, I'll have the MSP running with that moneys lol.

Hell I wish I worked in that office so I could unfuck everything. I just got an emain at midnight saying that my voucher has been setting in there for 3 days and that I should contact the personnel to have it approved or denied... Why am I getting that email? Send it to the NCOIC of finance lmao

Yeah man, sometimes I actually feel bad for those guys. A lot of what goes on isn't their fault because all they do is forward it to Ellsworth. But the stuff that does happen at this level tends to get lost because its as though they feel "not my money, not my concern".

Either way man, one of these days we should hit up one of the shows on Friday or Saturday night. I've driven by a few times, but the majority seem to be classics.
