I have a Sport with the 18" wheels. My wife took it out to go out with her friends this evening for dinner and she came back 2 minutes later telling me I had a flat tire. Sure enough, there is a vertical split in the sidewall of the rear passenger-side tire. I have no idea how it happened. Needless to say, I am not happy to buy a new tire less than 2 months into my ownership of this vehicle.
Nonetheless, I go call up the usual suspects of Sears, Sams Club and Costco here in Indianapolis to find a replacement tire. No one has the OE tire in stock! I could easily get a Michelin or Goodyear, but I dislike the look of mis-matched tires. The closest tire was located in Richmond, Indiana (well over an hour away from me). What do these tire stores keep in stock? 14" doughnuts? It's not like I live in a small town. (pissed)
