its a resistor to make the car think colder air is coming in, all it does is throw off the a/f ratio.

haha yea, notice how they dont show a pic of the actual component? my buddy bought one for his spec v as kinda a joke. It finally came after like 2 months and all it was, was little radioshack like resistors stuck in a piece of foam and a envelope that said big power. HAHAHA wtf are u gonna do with that. Its not like a vw where u can go buy a VW and get a APR chip(those things are like a grand and they do work!) that stuff cracks me up

Ebay allows it because it technically works as described. Or at least for a little while. You'll then have *many* more problems than you've ever imagined. Also, if you've ever bought and received anything on ebay, you normally leave feedback as soon as you get the product. Not many have it it long enough to experience issues or a decrease in performance due to ECU overwriting.

I'm still a n00b to this forum and handn't seen it yet. Not that I'd buy it. Why do that when all I have to do is download his dyno sheet and my car picks up 30-40 hp?
