Who Qualifies for the $500 Mazda Owner Loyalty Rebate?

Hey Everyone,

I'm getting a different answer from different dealers; some dealers say I must currently be owning a Mazda while other dealers say that I should qualify for it if I had a Mazda in the near past. I owned a Mazda3 between July 2011 and July 2014 so do you think I will qualify for the rebate? Any input is appreciated.

Thanks!

You need to be in possession of a current registration in your name for a Mazda vehicle. That about sums it up!

Cool, I qualify for the $500 loyalty. Been driving a Tribute since 2002. Im looking to buy a CX-5 soon. I guess I'll do all my price negotiations first and then spring it on them at the end and ask for the $500.

Agreed with paris1. I was told the same thing when I bought my CX5. The dealer even made me bring my registration because they had to send a copy back into Mazda HQ to validate the rebate.

All that matters is the final out the door price (given the service is acceptable). Because if the dealer who asks for proof can't give you a better overall price than the dealer that doesn't, why not just go to the one with the better price?

My mom and I also came from Tributes! I had a 2005 and she had a 2002. We both got 2015 CX-5 Tourings, hers FWD black, mine AWD blue. We both got the loyalty discount. I personally think that if you liked your Tribute, you'll love the CX-5.

I had to show them my registration from my Tribute.

the loyalty money gets deducted in the finance office, so you're on the right track here.

I read somewhere that there is also a $100 AAA discount for their auto club members when buying a new Mazda. Anyone have details on that? Do you just show a AAA membership card to the finance dept?

I offered my AAA card when I bought the car (I offer it in a lot of places, just in case!) and got nothing. Haven't heard of this.

I had my 2005 Tribute for 9.5 years and finally traded it for 2015 CX-5 GT AWD, totally love both of them!!!
