it's kinda worthless unless you have an HDTV, the graphics don't look any better than the old xbox

and the starting lineup pretty much sucks

also, you must be retarded to get it on opening day, the price will drop immensely in the coming months and the game lineup will improve immensely

in other words there are no advantages to getting it right away other than e-penis size

i just got home from target from getting a premium 360 it looks nice in the white box unopened. going to pick up games later today and cancel my pre-ordered core system from ebgames, long story, but im content!

Agreed. I wont buy one myself until after the first of next year some time. There is a small chance I'll get one for xmas, and if so, then so be it. If I do get it for xmas I can make my next goal to procure a new TV. I'm currently running on really old Samsung 29" that doesn't even have A/V inputs... only coaxial. Sad eh? Now that I think about it, I've never actually purchased a TV before. All three that I own were given to me when relitives upgraded to better sets...

All i know is they only shipped 300k to USA for opening night. Next shippment isnt until christmas.

what about the large advancement in graphics cards in the last few years? what it sounds like you're saying is like saying that there's no need to upgrade your graphics card on your computer if you're still running a CRT monitor, which totally doesn't make sense

well i called ebgames since they never called me to see if i had a system and all they told me was that i was in "the third wave" and didnt know that was....so im glad i went to target!
