Who bought their Mazda5 because of the Sliding Doors?

My wife has had tons of back surgery, so she can't really bend over any more so we HAD to get something with sliders, but we just don't need something as big as a regular minivan. The 5 is basically the perfect vehicle for us.

Exactly. not just the slider. Minivans are nice but they aren't really that mini and hard to park or drive in the city, plus the gas mileage really sucks. 90% of the time you don't really need all the space but have to pay for it (gas).

There came Mazda 5 that does what you want from a minivan 95% of time, saves you a lot of gas money, looks cool, fun to drive, comes with standard if you like it, cheaper to own, you don't feel as guilty when driving alone, and you get by-walkers peeking inside of the vehicle whenever you open the sliding door with envy eyes, ....

I was a no brainer for us.

Great pictures.

I doubt the Mazda5 would sell as well without the sliding doors.
Without them, they would be just like any other car in a very crowded "crossover" category.
