I woulda gone with the blitz, I just installed mine and it's the s***, built in boost gauge and the timer adjusts it self based on how often the turbo was being used. It's quite nice, but I think you'll be happy with whatever you choose.

what did the compustar run you?

Im guessing that there isnt a turbo timer that can work with our stock alarms..... I think i read that in the MSP section a while back.
