I haven't bought snows for a car in almost 20 years and I'm looking for second opinions or advice. 16" snows are getting hard to find due to high demand .... no Goodyears, Michelins, Bridgestones ... etc. I couldn't stand driving such a great looking car 3 or 4 months of the year on "steelies". For $1,500.00Cdn. I can put Enkie 9 spokes and Yokohama AVS-V901's on as soon as I get the msp. The price seemed OK to me, anyone know better? Anyone have any experience with these Yoko's? Any opinions on how they'll look?(hear ya)

I got a set of '03 Protege rims and tires as part of a deal/bet with my dealer principal. I will be putting them on in a couple weeks, it has been unusually nice in BC lately.

There are lots of people selling there stock rims and tires for $600-$800 on our message board. They are not the best in the world but for winter tires they aren't bad and you know they will fit. I will use mine with the all seasons on them this year and maybe switch the rubber next year to real winter tires.

 I played in photoshop, but I'm not very good at it. My msp with my proposed winter tires. I think these will make the 16" look like 17".

(stupid) Sorry .... it wouldn't let me attach a 2.3meg RGB file .... weird huh???
