which is the true "silver"

I was under the impression the the "liquid platinum" was the "silverist (you know what I mean hehe) " of the colors. On the Mazda website they have a color called "True Silver Metallic" which actually looks more silver than the liquid platinum. Which one is the real "silver" color, it's hard to tell from the pictures. I was interested in the copper red but I think the silver will be easier to maintain.

you really need to see the silver colors, during the day and in AND out of light to see what they are. they are all actually quite different

True Silver color looks a lot like the color of slightly tarnished silverware... just a tinge of tan in it, but it looks different in different light. Liquid Platinum looks more like a colorless metal (platinum, stainless). Galaxy gray is a little darker than either of them... maybe they should have called that one titanium as long as they're naming colors after metals.

true silver, is one definate wierd color. sometimes looks straight silver (light) sometimes yellowish, sometimes tan, beige who the hell knows haha i couldnt get used to it.

I have the true silver. It is basically silver, with a very slight touch of gold. In most lights it looks like sparkling silver, but it certain lights it can look more gold (which I don't really like, but I didn't realize it would be so flexible). I believe Toyota has a similar color. What drew me to it was the incredible metallic-ness - it is much more metallic looking than any of the other colors, IMO.

I like it better than the platinum silver, which has a tint of purple that I don't like.

I have the galaxy gray, and in the light it has like a bueish, purplish, and grayish tint. I always get compliments for the pearl paint.

I like the liquid platinum....and the one that has the bit of gold look to it....all easy to maintain. Ok...I sure did not help in answering your question. The one that looks most silver is the true silver...almost looks greyish silver.

i have the liquid platinium , i love it!! on the sunlight i looks like a liquid silver very shine, on the night it depends , sometimes it looks silver and sometimes looks like a shine white with a little of yellow IMO i love it!!!

Even the white looks different at times. In normal light it looks almost plain, but when the sun or under the lights at night it takes on the "Pearl" and looks real sharp.

Pearl is a special type of paint that has colored parts in it that reflect light in a color selected for their pearl effect.

My old race car 64 GTO was White with Green racing strips. Both covered in a purple pearl. Pictures in shade never did it justice as when the sun hit it looked blindingly awesome..

My Liquid Platinum is not pearl. I believe the white is the only true pearl paint. Those owners paid an addition $500 for that paint.

The others are just metallic paints.

Mitsubishi cars come with a number pearl paints not just one
