Which do you prefer?

The Superleggaras are not available in gold for the Protege's bolt pattern. They are 5x100 for Subaru only.

The new Heidfelds are nice.

If you have the cash and can actually wait to import a set of the Advan RG-II's that would be the best :)

I have heard that the SSR Competition is not a good street wheel. (Easily damaged and $$$)

yea did you check prices before you posted the links? the advans are hella expensive. but if you dont go with the expensive ones, if the avis rims arent too heavy go with those. good looking knockoffs. make sure you get the right offset and all that, cause i never knew people like avis made correct sizes.

Get the lightest ones you can, IMO. =) Probably the Advan's, as Advan makes a killer, lightweight wheel. Had I enough cash, I'd pick up a set of 17" Advans for tarmac racing, keep the 16's for general road use and rally/dirt tires, and use my 15's for winter. =) But as it is, I just have the 16's and 15's. Hehee. Ahh, well.

SSR Type-C (competition) is probably the lightest. The Advan wheels aren't really competition quality .. more for fashion.

-gold OZ SuperLs only come in WRX fitment

-never heard of Avis & Wheelmax sucks

-some mesh wheels are nice, but not so much on our cars & not those Heidfelds

-Advan: TCII, RCII, RG (in that order) but they are $$$

-this is the only car I've ever seen the gold SSRs on & it looks damn good

I really wish more people on this site would be interested in colored wheels like you. I was looking for some gold wheels, but they are either unavailable or too expensive. I'm trying to get bronze now, but I'm still having some trouble.

I've decided that gold looks good on black, white, red, & blue...bronze on white, silver, gray, & black
