Howdy all,
Can anyone recommend a good cheap place to get tech inspections? My mechanic won't be available unfortunately, this time around, and I'm sure Mazda would be expensive (if they'd even do it).
Thanks.

where do you live in boca. i have been living here for the past year and a half...

Thanks for the info, I ended-up taking it to where I get my tires done (Hass Auto Clinic), it was expensive ($80) but oh well. I'll definitely check out Roger Case next time, thanks.

I live on 441+Palmetto, right near the West Boca hospital, a place called Rainberry Park. I just got back from running at Sebring and my car did much better than I expected, even the brakes, although I'm going to try a higher boiling brake fluid and HPT pads in the front for next month at Sebring. I'd also like to upgrade my header+midpipe with wagner, but it looks like I just missed-out on a big group buy DOH! :) Oh well.

hmm what ya run at sebring i lived there for 10 years and went to highschool and college there used to run my firebird when i was younger. what all ya need to do. i would like to go run my mazda on sebring

I didn't time myself, too busy driving. :) You should definitely run your Mazda, it's the driver, not the car after all. Saturday I passed a Lamborghini Gallardo, 350Z, G35 sedan, older 911, Porsche Cayenne and C5, and kept-up with a topless miata, so that made my weekend. :) Of course I was passed by everything else running that day, and the Porsche Cayenne passed me on the back straight leading to turn 17 after I passed it -- I can't compete with its horsepower, but my line and cornering was much better.

Check out www.chinmotorsports.com, they're by far the best driving school I've found, and it's only ~$275 to run aaaaallll day long on a track (Sebring, Moroso, Homestead, VIR, Roebling, Barber.........).
