I need pads and probably rotors for the Speed. Anyone know a good place to get them. I called the dealer and that was a waste. I also checked the aftermarket parts guide, it only had a big brake kit listed. Any suggestions?

Ken from protegegarage.com can get you the stock rotors and pads, or the 626 pads and rotors if your interested.

if you're looking for performance rotors and pads, check www.**********.com. if you're looking for blank rotors, you can try to give TriPoint a call.

I'm actually on the market for some new rear rotors and pads. I currently have cross-drilled/slotted on the fronts, and looking for something similar for the rear. ********** is a bit expensive and only sells 4-piece, front and rear. Anyone know a good place to get just rears and good pads? Also, what are your opinions on the greenstuff brakes, i see that a lot of you have them, are they good? do they wear out the rotors fast, a lot of brake dust??? squeakage??

I used to run EBC Greenstuff on the front of my Acura powered Civic. Awesome organic pads...work great cold...getting some for my Speed as soon as I need em.....

Don't get 626 stuff cause it wont fit it is about an inch to small front and rear. Ordered the stuff said it fit the MazdaSpeed Protege as well as the 626. Nope, but i got my money back, so I'm at square one again.

If you want to prolong the life of your brake parts as well as increase their stopping power, get them cryo-treated. Well worth the extra cash in my opinion.

There's two kinds of pads for the 626. The one for the V6 fits.
