Where does this go?

I have been a member to this forum for awhile now but have never posted anything. Recently I took my cai out to give it a good clean with a friend of mine when we came across this tube. He is a little more "car inclined" than I am and neither of us could figure out where or what this tube went to. If someone could please give me some insight it would be greatly appreciated. I haven't noticed any difference in driving and my car holds a solid 10 psi. Please help!! The first picture is zoomed out so you get an idea as to where the tube is, the second pic is a close up. This is one of 2 tubes coming from the same place....it is the tube closest to the inside interior of the car. Thanks!

nothing. its supposed to be disconnected. not really sure what its for, but it's normal to be just sitting there.

It goes to wastegate actuator. Becaose it is disconected you are running only wastegate spring 10 psi of boost!

thanks for the info! I'll have to look into it, I'm not too mechaically inclined but I'm learning all I can from my buddy. We will have to try and find out where the actuator is and probably get a longer hose

Technically, wannabe is correct, there is a metal "inspection" tube just to the left in this photo. This only serves a purpose during the actual build of the car. Nothing more. It just isn't a good photo.

After looking at your photo, the wastegate vac line is connected, so it appears to be the second vac line that makes a connection to the TIP (turbo inlet pipe--black plastic). If you peek under the hoses, you should see a port on the TIP that this line attaches to. It will make a "horseshoe" shape when properly connected. You shouldn't need a new line, just a tension clamp. You may have knocked it off when removing your CAI. It will need to be connected.

Or, you broke the port off while removing the CAI. In which case, you'll need a new port, or a new TIP. Hope this helps.

yeah as everyone else said that goes to your turbo inlet, hopefully you didn't break the piece on the inlet off.

Thanks again for everyone who responded. I probably won't take a look at it until my bpv comes which should be latest tomorrow but with the replys hopefully this is a quick fix! Thanks again
