Mixing bowl is SOUTH of where i am.. I'm right across the woodrow wilson bridge matt
mine is a Mazda Deflector. Bought from Dealer, Has Mazda logo on it. I had another on my mp3 that was made by Perfect fit. There are so many of these companies that make these things it's nuts.
I have had at least 2-300+people asking me where I got mine. And the ones that can't seem to get them at the dealers are all americans.
Ventshield is another name.
Search for Hood Visor, bug deflector. I'm sure there's a few other names for them.
Mine was about $90 CDN. Takes 5 mins to install if that. Doesn't touch paint at all. I have NO CHIPS at all on my hood. Matter of fact, unlike my mp3, I have no chips in my bumper either which I am still amazed at. Well, maybe 3-5 chips... maybe

I find that if I drive with my flame-throwers on I have significantly less bug-gut deposit on my hood and windshield. But seriously...I find that insects love my car. When I come out to my car in the parking lot at night there are always moths, spiders, and wired flies on it...and not on other cars. I think it may have something to do with how the Dark Titanium paint reflects light. Or I have some bizzare Egyptian curse....I do tend to anger Pharoahs.
They have a total of four clamps plus some 3m clear tape as protection. You just put the tape on to the hood and slide the clamps on then use the screws to secure the clamps on the hood. The deflector just goes on the clamps and is secured with screws.
To keep the hood from being scratched by the screws hold the clamps down, I used the self laminating films (sticky) in addition to the 3m clear tape that was provided.
