Just wondering if anyone has heard a final word on when we can make custom maps with the AP. My mod list isn't working quite right with the maps available and i'm anxious for the release of the custom tuner.

I doubt it will be for our cars. they day they release a pro tuner for the car is the day I will buy one.

User tunability will be out very soon, within the next month from what I hear. Maybe as soon as two weeks.

The COBB BPV, and Cold air box were supposed to be out 3rd quarter 2008, its 2009. I have nothing personal against COBB, but until I see a confirmation FROM COBB, I wouldnt hold my breath.

Well Cobb has been more punctual as of late. People are already testing the software and christian is using it to tune and giving classes on how to use it. So I think it will be soon than later

im ready im ready im ready. actually ill be to afraid to use it. haha. but i have a close relative who knows how to do tunes like buttering toast. ill learn in the process.

I wont buy the ap untill street tuner or race tuner is avaliable. I'm pushing back the buy date forever if its not going out public. A cobb authorized vendor near me told me that he will be able to use it to sell tune so maybe i wont have to buy the option wich will go for about 200$ if not more. At almost a grand i would reconsider it and probably call it. If a tuner can do it for me... maybe but for now i'll wait.

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME GET MY SPEED3 RUN RIGHT!!! darn bad stock tune.

You can tune it yourself for free with ATR.

It allows you to change boost, timing, and fueling among other variables without a tuner. In other words you tune yourself and create your own maps using the base maps cobb provides.

Nice. Because i'm leaning out a bit on fuel under boost. my afr's are getting into the 9's. I have an upgraded pump but i just need to tune my car to spit a little more fuel.

One more thing.. do you have any idea what i should do about having a catless downpipe? What should i try to tune?

i have a feeling that once this is released we are going to see a slight spike in blown engines

If your a/f's are in the nines you are running rich not lean and that is normal on the stock map. I have no idea what you would need to change. You need to datalog to see where the maps can be improved.

Yes I agree. The atr software is not something that should be used by inexperienced people who don't understand how the basics of tuning.

basics of tuning no way.....from what ive been learning on here and over the internet the past few weeks i wouldnt tune this s*** unless i know how everythign works with everything else.....ie. trained mechanic or motor head for years.
