I wanna lower the car with some tein s-tech springs and i know when you lower a car that you should get a camber kit to redo the camber, but since these cars are already lowered I was wonding do I need to get a camber kit. Also would the rear need a camber kit, cause all the kits I see are for the front. THanks

proteges dont have camber issues as bad as other cars ( mainly hondas.lol) i believe anything over 2 inches will need a kit to bring camber back to spec. the fronts are all you really need to worry about. as the rears are a multi link and the only thing that would be afected is toe, which is more destructive than camber. but toe can be reset too. just get an aligment after you install the springs and everything will be peachy.lol

the MSP arent that much lower than the reg proteges. maybe .75 inches, if that. but the tokico struts that come on the MSP's have a higher lower spring perch in the rear so if you the tein s tech springs your going to get a raked look. search around to see what springs the MSP guys are running. i personally have a set of tokico hp's and espelir springs waiting to go in and are gonna be paired up with the racingbeat swaybars and the evolv clunk fix. should be good.

I was thinking about doing the same with my MSP, but I have 225/45/17 so I'm pretty unsue if theres going to be rubbing issue's

My shocks are worn so I went down to advance and bought a set of KYB-2 shocks. So I don't believe I have to worry about the higher lower spring perch. Thats good, bout the camber. Thanks for the info!!!!

yea. KYB's are good. but i hate to say this, i would have went with tokico blues. the aftermarket ones. im not sure how the KYB's are with an MSP setup. and the tokico blues would have a normal spring perch in the rear instead of a higher one.

but im sure th KYB's will work out good. just dont have any info on them. being the MSP's came with tokico HP's. ive heard the KYBs are nothing more than basically a replacement for proteges. but do a little research. youll find the answer.

I had front camber issue when lowered with Tein S-techs. I blew it off cause it visibly looked ok, but my falken 615's got eatin' up from negative camber.

The KYB's should be good. They're a direct replacement for the car; but you never know these days!
