No, thats want you actually want to get rid of. If you ever rebuilt an engine you let the engine break in for 500 miles. Drain it to get rid of the assembly lube and other particles. Once you hit 3000 change it again and do the oil change every 3000 on. This is stated in a Haynes repair manual.Isnt it bad to change your oil so soon. I was made aware by many technicians, and people who work at car manufacturers that a special additive is put in the oil that comes from the factory...Its kind of like a preparatory lubrication for the first 3K miles. So changing to a regular oil w/o this might not be a good idea.
