Wheel question from idiot

Ok, I don't really know a damn thing about cars other than how to drive them. (And even that's questionable sometimes) Does anyone know the bolt pattern(size thing) for buying new wheels? I am getting into Autocrossing and would like to take a second set to the next event. Also, I have seen offset mentioned. Is it different for each wheel?
Sorry for the ignorance, all I know is get in, strap down, put in gear, push hard on vertical pedal.
I have been looking on groupbuycenter.com for something good. Seems to be nice, but I don't really know what would fir ot even what to ask for.

5x100 is the bolt pattern...i was wondering about the offset myself.

Bolt patter is 5x114.3 if I am not mistaken, not 5x100.
