Could someone please help me out?!?! With an eibach prokit on my car, what is the absolute lowest offset of rim that i can put on my car...i know the closer to 52 the better, but exactly how close MUST it be??? Thakn you for your help in advance! p.s. does 5 x 100/114.3 mean that these sizes are the same???

first i think this question has been asked a gazillion times. Try doing a search.
I dont know how much the pro-kit affects it but you will need a camber kit. I think that most cars that have been dropped are using a 48mm offset, but i dont know ifthats the max.
5 x 100/114.3 means that the rim can fit both sizes. It comes with a dual pattern.

you are correct young grasshopper.... lol
remember when it wasn't to long ago you had all the questions and no answers...

Now that you have a header makes you an expert? GTFO! my young padawan.
got your wheels yet?
And for the record, i still have tons of questions and no answers

nope, no wheels yet, thanks for the help though...and i also want to thank mazda for making our cars have such a high, and hard to find offset

Zoom, maybe you can help me or whoever else read this :D. Was looking at some Kazera wheels with a +50mm offset, would I need a camber kit and if so why? I dont understand what they really do when it comes to the offset of the wheels.

Needing a camber kit isn't a function of offset, it's a function of ride height. The high offset is necessary to be able to use a camber kit to bring it back into spec after installing a lowering kit.

Get all that? :D

sorry, but I dont get it, I'm very dense :(. Would I need a camber kit if I got eibach pro kit, tokico blues and ran on 17s with a 50mm offset and 205/45 or 215/45(would that fit without rolling fenders?)

***EDIT****
Sorry, didnt notice this was the M3 forum :). But the question still stands if anyone knows. For a 02 Pro ES

Actually, you shouldn't need a camber kit with a Pro. You have Mac struts at all four corners, so your camber won't change much with a drop.
You will need to have your car aligned to set the toe, though.

Can't help you with the offsets and tire sizes. Better to ask over in the Protege section.

would 18's be ok with a prokit on my car...i noticed zoom has 18's but no prokit

Wheel diameter is irrelevant, as long as you have the proper size tires and offset.

thanks a bunch goldwing...i hope to one day be in a reputation point wet dream like you one day...hell i'll go ahead and add to it

Heh. Well, the rep point system is down but thanks anyway. (thumb)
