Why is it that the SRT comes standard with a Boost guage, and Mazda didn't bother?

Hmmm...Me thinkst that the SRT Boost guage is an Autometer.

That being said, how is that any different than Kenwood supplying the sound system, Racing Beat with the suspension, Callaway with the Turbo, ect, ect.

Mazda doesn't want to encourage anyone to see higher nos. on the boost! It is a 100K mi car!!! Without detrimental mods, you WILL get that. My unmodified 88 323GT Turbo had 155K on it and the engine and turbo was like new. I gave it away to get my 99 ES.:'(

I think it's because Mazda didn't want everyone to know their car was only putting out 4.5-5psi instead of the 6.9psi it's supposed to be putting out.
