recently just bought 2003 5sp DX after my civic was totaled after a dumb driver decided to take left turn into on coming traffic. me being the on coming traffic.
this is going to be my daily driver and baby hauler. however i was planning on building up the suspension/brakes and get some decent tread and get her some track time. i'm realist and understand that while you can make bolton power on a n/a 4 cyl, to me the cost out weighs the benefits unless they are free mods. which is exactly what i'm going to search around for.

I'd like to cheat and not do the searching and ask what suspension/brake/tire combos are the most popular that you track guys are running? and who has the best price? but if you want me to put in the "search" time i will.

However my car handles like a go-kart, and I think I have less than $500 bucks into my suspension maybe a hair more. You can surf the forums for used parts which are just as fine as anything else, and will save you a ton of money in the end. Just look for people that are parting out their wrecked cars. I think Focus (a member on here) is he guy that has like 3 MSP's (MazdaSpeed Protege) worth of parts in his garage and he's selling everything he has...so I'd jump on that.
