iv had mine up to 131, that was a cold ass night, no air filter, fresh synthetic oil change, removed the racks and just lowered the car alot,oh and msp muffler..it took a while to get ther and might have gone maybe 2-4 mph faster with lots more room..the car had just finished the break in @ 3000 miles, so i pulled the filter, removed the racks to see what she'll do. not bad for the car.. maybe 125ish on a summer night, ill find out this summer

Its not a P5, but I have had my DX to 125-130 (who knows if our speedo's are accurate there) And I have a Injen CAI, Sparkco Wires/NGK plugs, and an MP3 ecu.

Fastest I had the civic up to was around 120 quite a few times, not sure though, as speedos are very innaccurate at that speed.

the fastest that a stock P5 will go is right at ~132-133. its not limited by the motor's revs, but its limited by the drag coefficient of the car at that speed. plus why could you ever really need to go faster than that stock (shrug)

There was more to go, but I was getting close to the end of the road, so had to slow down..

The accuracy is not that bad, last time I got pulled over, I was doing 150, and the cop said he was doing about 140, and I was still pulling away.. btw, no ticket..

i was in my GTI and i toped out at 135 (damn rev limiter) but once i get a chip i can top out at 155

150 mph??? do you have a turbo cause there is no way you hit 150mph unless you were going down a steep hill or bridge that was a mile or so long...so i am guessing that you are talking about KPH

Man has this topic come up so many times.

I remember one guy saying the P5 was drag limited at something like 105.

Well I beg to differ. The speedometers may or may not be accurate at top speed. My P5 had a fuel cut off at 132 with just under 6000 RPMs. The rev limiter doesn't kick in until 7200. So at 6000 RPMs at 132 I was still accelerating when the fuel cut off hits. And I mean it hits. The engine just cuts until I was at 130 then full power is back.

Now that I have the MP3 ECU the my fuel cut off is at 135.

Fastest I've had the wife's P5 is 50mph. But then again, she doesn't let me drive it much. Not sure why, although she's always mumbling something about irrisponsibility and "growing up"

150 kph= 93mph Is my max speed so far. The highest I will ever go is probably 100 mph but I havent done that yet.
