Hey!
This is going to be the thread that will be updated with news and other information about Dempsey Racing. I hope this helps!
This is the most recent information as of December 7, 2011 from a press release by Grand-Am:
"While not entered in the test, Charlie Putman and Charles Espenlaub both drove in the No. 41 Dempsey Racing FishingCapital.com/Bass2Billfish Mazda RX-8 they will be sharing for the 2012 Rolex Series season. Espenlaub moves to the Rolex Series fulltime after serving as Patrick Dempseys standby for three seasons when the team owner was forced to miss races due to his acting schedule. The Rolex 24 will be the Rolex Series debut for Putman, who tested a GT car for the first time on Wednesday."
Also some information about the testing and the upcoming season from a post on the Official Dempsey Racing Fan Site Facebook on December 8, 2011:
"Another solid day for the #41 car at Daytona, 225 laps in total over two days. Great Mazda reliability and great progress from Team Seattle drivers Don Kitch, Jr., Dan Rogers and Rick Johnson. 2012 season full timers Putman and Espenlaub had some laps as well. We are all looking forward to January!"
We are glad to have the Charlies joining the Mazda Family! Welcome!
