What year did the 5 get a 5 speed auto tranny?

Found my answer. Sorry if I wasted anyone's time. Don't know how to delete thread.

Having trouble finding this info. I'm looking to replace an '07 equipped with 4 speed auto trans that got crunched by a distracted driver. The only thing I didn't like about the '07 is the fact that, when cruising around 120km/h (75 mph), the engine is spinning at about 3300 rpm which seems pretty high and, therefore, not so good on gas consumption.

EDIT: I'm in Canada.

Only the 06-07 have the crappy 4-speed.
BTW, the 5MT runs higher rpms in 5th at 75 mph. I stopped driving mine for road trips b/c of that. Besides the fact that the Volvo is a real GT compared to the 5.

Little OT... how do you think the "Ford" Volvo will compare to the current "Chinese" Volvo? Of course.. compared to the old "Swedish" Volvo?

I came close to a new '07 S40 T5 AWD.... but ended up with "Lexified" Nissan with the G.
