also a custom mount for in front of the cupholders (that little pocket) for a greddy turbo timer, since that is a real popular product that most FI owners have. it would basically cover up the opening of the pocket and mount the TT in the middle cleanly.

well i for one would like to see cams more agressive cams. also stuff like stiffer valve springs. just better head internals for the most part. But id really like to see more eletronic tuning options for the mazdaspeed. we got a good engine our ecu is krap. mabye something like vw's revotech tuneing. something where we can send in our ecu's to be flashed

I have a great idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!........a shrort ram intake that relocates the coolant resevior slightly and terminates over the hole everyone puts the CAI through..........but heres the good part............use you sheet metal-ish ways to fab a heat sheild that blocks the filter form the hot air under the hood .......= SRI w/ CAI benifits

not really your idea lol especially if you have a pic of said part that has already been marketed. I however second the SRI w/ heatshield. that would own. That metal radio mount with the guage pods is brilliant as well - I want one.

I third the SRI w/heatshield, but make the heatshield for sale seperatly for us DIY intake makers. Also, how about a stainless steel exhaust manifold heatshield, engraved with mazdaspeed. Maybe make it thicker or something to block heat better though.

Matt's metal radio mount with gauge pods is a GREAT idea - that's where I want my gauges but currently I don't want to go through the effort to do a custom mount there.

Also, a decently priced set of hard pipes would be nice...most of the ones available are too expensive IMO. Also, a set of ALL 4 motor mounts would be nice - you'd be the ONLY one offering all 4 mounts. The stock mounts are crap. AWR's are either too hard or too small of bushings, not sure which, and they only offer the front and rear.

I agree with the radio mount idea. Another option that I've seen a few years ago but can't find anymore is a mount that holds a din sized radio in the top (no change there), but in the bottom, it holds 2 quarter-din sized electronics (Read: turbo timer and electronic boost controller) and then 1 small gauge. You wouldnt need a boost gauge because the electronics could take care of that, so one gauge isn't a stretch to have in the car.

I would buy this tommorrow if I could find it.

There's only one company that makes a turboback for our car. I'm assuming you can't do full on exhaust work but how about making an S pipe replacement that isn't quite as restrictive?
