hey i need some input from you all i have a mp5 which i love but its auto and the engines been acting up so i been wanting a new car but what car should i waste money on i dont wana be fast and the furious i just want a clean dd but equally fast any ideas i really like the ms3

Im getting rid of my protege5 soon, and trying to get a miata. the wife ahs a Mazda6s whcih is nice and peppy. you can get a used one for cheaper then a ms3

the money situation is tight but than again im not looking to drop 90 g's i just want a decent car for a decent price and a MANUAL -.- but for sure i want something i could keep for a while like 4 years or more while i finish school ms3 ms6 are ones i like but i want to see other options

How important is gas mileage? FWD or RWD? Snow driving required?

snow not at all i live in miami hot year round and fwd or rwd doesnt matter to me and gas mileage is important i dont want to be driving a gas guzzler college student so mostly to class and work i was looking at the new ms3 2010 but im not sure if im really feeling the new look

You really have no limits here...aside from the gas mileage...I personally like the ms3, and think it'd be a good choice. Other than that, if you like srt4's...they got lots of pep and are decent on gas (they get very fast with a little work should you decide later on).

If you are set on a brand new car, then now is the time to buy. But if you are only planning to keep it about 4 years you would be wasting your money.

Find a low mile MS3 that someone can't afford anymore. You could prolly find an 08 with low mileage for 15K if you look hard enough and act fast.

Honestly, I don't really too much attention to gas mileage, but I think I usually get around 18-19, I do alot of city driving. The MS3 will get you more cargo space, but I love my MS6 for the AWD. I don't get snow either but the traction is still great i any weather

subaru impreza wrx sti. you can probably get one for a lower price than a new ms3.

The STI's are 40k cars new. The speed 3 is faster, but the speed 6 is awd and bigger. if you want a "family" car a speed 6 is the way to go. It sounds like you really like the speed 3 so I say go for it (get an 09 cuz the new body sux IMO).

edit: the speed 3 is faster than a speed 6. I'm pretty sure an STI would make a speed 3 look silly.
