Yeah but it had issues, and it was never really promoted. It is tough to compete in the AWD mid size segment, but I think mazda will try again.

The new mazdaspeed 6 2010 concept car was pretty much the same thing as the old. The hp was bumped up 6 . . . to 280. I think the weight was bumped up very slightly so my guess is the older ones will be faster. Basically the same car with a new face. Check it out. There have been a few threads around speculating everything from a new 4 cyl to a twin turbo V6. Whatever they do, I hope they use the smaller overseas market car, and actually make it faster than the current one, and of course keep the AWD. Who knows... we're still too far away from the end of this model, but I'll still read all the gossip!
