what was the most pain in the a$$ install for you?

COILOVERS, not so much the coilovers but the endlinks, i had to dremel the bitches off. Im doing new struts soon hopefully itll go smoother.

My strut tower brace was a b**** to install, but only because it came with no instructions.

Damn Horse Shoe retainer clip..when i was installing my kart boy short shifter..i didn't have the proper tool..and spent a good hour just trying to get here on.. Cut up my hand also.

Chas

well the damn turbo was time consuming, but fun. but let me tell you about these

GODDAMNED CLEAR BUMPER LENSES

ive been working on all ******* day. so far ive got one, and it still has a small gap int he front. ive tried all kinds of clear silicone and goop and safe glue so my bumper is plastered with the s***, though i think ive got most of it off. its just pissing me off because im a perfectionist and i hate to see the slightest gap. to make matters worse it got dark and i stepped on one of the ******* bulbs.

im so pissed i want to fight someone.

I pulled back a bloody stump instead of a right hand when installing (attempting anyway) the rear engine mount...I am such a No0b W0otzZ wO0tzzZ at getting into the little areas of the engine bay...I was AQuir3d !!!!!1!!one...

It sounds really gay, and in reality it is not really a install. But it was a culmination of things in one day. AND it is all just becuase of the damn oil filter. I was taking the crossmember off to get at it a little better. Granted this was my first 3000, so the damn thing was on there damn tight. But while i am taking the cross member out, my socket broke. The damn spring inside came loose, and so i was ******, so for about 4 hrs i had to work my ******* hand up in that tight ass spot. My arm hurt so bad the next day. It wasent ******* hard it just sucked! For all the guys that took off there oil filter for the first scheduled, they know what i mean. Its a pain in the ass

Getting the Injen coupled to the turbo was sorta a pain, but not much to b**** about.

The whole taking the dash off was a pain at the time. Thinking back on it, its not that bad.

The oil pressure gauge and A/F. I spent a total of 10 hours painting the pillar and installing s***... *sigh*

Rear mount definatley. The next worse was the damn rear strut that has no way of holding the piston rod to torque the nut on, because the keyed washer was stripped. Everything else I've done was cake.

i looked at the rear mount and decided against it. i wish someone would do a how-to so i could accomplish that install.

Oh come on Matthew, it's not that hard. 6 friggin nuts. 1 bolt. All you will need is time and patience.

see i couldnt even see where they were though. it was one of those deals i looked and was like...hmm...**** this.
