i want to buy a computer for my car piggyback or e-manage but not sure which one is the best i currently have spool stage three turbo setup i am going to build my motor pistons, rods, jspec cams, arp head and main studs, bigger injectors, upgraded t3-t4 turbo, take my head to machine shop to get it worked on for port and polish, fuel pump, what else do i need? and what tunning is best? help
(drive)

The e-manage is a piggyback...

the best tuning is what is required for your projected goal and cars behaviour...More power will require a more capable engine controller...

reply back with what kind of power you want to make...There is no cheap solution...but you do have a number of different options and routes to take...

i what to run at least 20 psi at the track and 15 psi on a regular basis thats what i am shooting for

chicagop5, i am going to send you a PM on this. read it and maybe give me a call. we'll work something out!

If your serious AEM is the best. I have it and I'm also getting the internals done with a T4. The AEM can adjust to all of this, it might be alot of money but is well worth it. Why go with something cheap when your spending alot of money to upgrade your car. AEM WILL make your can a well tuned beast! PM me if you want to get the AEM EMS.

How is the AEM coming? I have not seen anything. That is going to take forever. Is he making a new harness for the engine? Is he changing all the sensors on the engine? I am very interested in this. If he gets this going I am all over it.

The AEM is great, Andy turned it at his shop about 2 weeks ago know I had to get bigger injectors so I got the WRX 880cc injectors. The only reason I went with the 880cc is because of the upgrades I'm doing in the future and to boost with the AEM up to 14psi SAFELY. The AEM runs off a 3 1/2 bar map sensor so the MAF sensor is not reading the air, you still need the MAF sensor there so the computer thinks that it's being used. Now say I get the internals done and a manifold, new down pipe and the T4 I can tune the car the way it should. The AEM controls timing, air, the amount of fuel through the injectors everything, this system is awesome!!!

880cc injectors huh??? That seems a bit over kill for our cars. I understand your plnas, but how can those big things let the car idle the way it should. You would have to have the duty cycle so low and even then I think they would still be dumping too much fuel. That's Let us know how they work.

I was gonna say, I thought the WRX had 550cc, not 880cc...

And screw idle, your gas mileage will turn to poop with those things in there.

You'll need to refill the tank every other freakin' day with injectors that huge.

What compression are you running to get a T4 to spool anytime this week on a 2.0-liter motor?

My gas went to s*** awhile ago I might get 225 miles to a tank. I don't have the T4 in yet hopefully by May of next year.

I don't think a 2.0-liter motor can sppol a T4 in any decent amount of time. Have you considered the lag issues?
