what are your plans for the car? If you plan on upgrading the motors internals then a front mount is probobly the way to go. if you are looking for a nice easy bolt in and want to keep the car relatively low boost (less then 12psi) then go with the SMIC. there are lots of good options for both the fmic and smic.

Increasing the boost without supporting mods will probably be something you will regret doing.
if your getting a boost controller you better get a full exhaust and intake and fmic before you boost it up.

hey captain i wouldnt mind getting that intake manifold would it be worth it just to get that for now or would you advise me getting something else when i order that i think im going to wait on getting the fmic and the boost contr

what are your plans for the EGR tube? I know that its a little different than the Protege one. I'm sure people would like to know if this will be a drop in replacement (aside from a few changes)

I picked the hiboost fmic. Its a good looking piece, which should cool better than an upgraded SMIC. IF you add the price of hard pipes to a SMIC you are getting close to the price of the Hiboost anyways.
When ordering the hiboost, i know that it won't take over a month to get it either. Thats kind of what sold it for me.

Once that is out of the way I would get something that will fit the budget and the HP goals later down the road.
